School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Fountain, Colorado

Exciting opportunities are available for Speech-Language Pathologists to provide impactful maternity leave coverage in supportive elementary and early childhood school environments. These contract positions offer the chance to make a meaningful difference for students ranging from preschool through fifth grade, working alongside experienced colleagues and engaging with a range of speech and language needs.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Active Colorado SLP license and ASHA CCC-SLP certification (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
- Experience in school-based settings strongly preferred
- Solid knowledge of evaluation and treatment for articulation, receptive/expressive language, fluency, social-pragmatic communication, and high-tech AAC
- Ability to work effectively with students spanning mild to severe communication disorders
- Collaborative approach with teachers, staff, and families
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct services to students in the designated grade levels (elementary K-5 or preschool, depending on the assignment)
- Assess communication strengths and needs, and provide individualized therapy sessions
- Develop and implement IEPs and maintain thorough documentation of student progress
- Consult and collaborate with educational staff, parents, and a building-based SLP for continuity of care
- Attend staff development/workdays and participate in all school-related professional activities as required
- For elementary: Possible schedule flexibility, including in-person, with hybrid options open for discussion (Jan 4–March 19, 2027)
- For preschool: In-person service delivery only (Feb 15–May 27, 2027)
