Step into a rewarding role supporting K-12 students as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist, making an immediate impact across two elementary buildings. In this role, you’ll work collaboratively with educators and support staff to deliver tailored speech and language services to a caseload of approximately 50-55 students. The majority of your work will focus on helping elementary-age children—including those in general education and those with Autism Spectrum needs—reach their fullest potential in communication and academic success.

Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments and developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Providing direct and consultative therapy services within classroom and pull-out settings
  • Collaborating with classroom teachers, specialists, and families for student-centered planning
  • Managing a diverse caseload that spans both regular education and students needing autistic support
  • Fulfilling case management responsibilities such as progress monitoring, documentation, and compliance tasks
  • Participating in team meetings to support student growth and contribute to school initiatives

Required qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
  • Active state licensure as an SLP or eligibility to obtain prior to start
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) welcomed but not required (CFY candidates encouraged)
  • Experience with school-based speech-language therapy, especially in pediatric and elementary populations
  • Knowledge of IEP processes and compliance standards
  • Ability to manage a multifaceted caseload and effectively prioritize responsibilities

Enjoy a consistent Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00am–3:30pm, working 35 hours per week through May 27, 2027, with the opportunity for renewal.
