Required Skills & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
- Previous school-based experience highly valued, though not mandatory
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Work directly with students to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and parents to maximize student success
- Maintain accurate records and document student progress in compliance with school and state requirements
- Participate in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings as needed
