Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid North Carolina SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Recent experience in school-based or pediatric therapy settings
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop individualized treatment plans and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to K-5 students
- Conduct assessments, create IEPs, and track student progress
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and support multidisciplinary education efforts
- Provide support, guidance, and education to students and their families as needed
