Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Eligibility for or possession of ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC’s) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Experience or strong interest in pediatric populations
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with students, staff, and families
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other school-based professionals to support student progress
- Document student progress and maintain thorough records in compliance with school and state requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the multidisciplinary planning process
- Provide counseling and education to students and their families as needed
