Early Childhood Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Madison, MS

Key Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for CFY
- Licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP in the state of Mississippi
- Prior experience in schools, pediatrics, early childhood, or elementary settings strongly preferred
- Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt strategies based on individual student needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in cooperation with multidisciplinary teams
- Provide direct therapy, consultation, and support within classroom settings and one-on-one
- Track progress and maintain thorough documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Communicate regularly with parents, teachers, and staff to promote student success
