Speech Language Pathologist in Nettleton, MS

Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current SLP licensure and eligibility to practice in educational settings
- Previous experience working with K-12 students is highly preferred
- Strong skills in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of speech and language disorders
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborative spirit for working with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide individualized therapy for students with speech, language, and communication challenges
- Develop, maintain, and track progress on IEPs in accordance with district guidelines
- Consult and collaborate with classroom staff and parents to ensure student success and carryover of skills
- Maintain thorough documentation and provide progress reports
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and team planning sessions
- Stay current with best practices in school-based SLP services
