Skills & Experience Sought:
- Active or eligible licensure from the Massachusetts Board of Allied Health
- Valid Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education license in Speech and Hearing Disabilities (all levels)
- American Speech-Language-Hearing Association certification preferred; Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply
- Strong commitment to supporting elementary-aged students
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Role & Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality speech-language therapy to elementary students, including evaluation, goal setting, and individualized intervention
- Maintain accurate records and data collection in alignment with school and state guidelines
- Foster positive relationships with students, staff, and families, acting as a resource and advocate for those requiring speech services
- Collaborate effectively with classroom teachers, special education staff, and other related service providers to ensure holistic student support
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, contributing expertise and partnering in planning student goals
- Adapt therapy approaches to meet a range of communication needs and learning profiles
This contract offers a weekly schedule of 34 hours, providing dedicated time for planning and collaboration. You'll play a pivotal role in helping students achieve their fullest potential in the classroom and beyond.
