A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the 26/27 school year, specializing in both telespeech and in-school services. This role is based in Odessa, DE, and offers a contract position with consistent weekly hours totaling 37.5 per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans addressing speech and language impairments.
- Deliver therapy sessions both through telespeech platforms and in traditional school settings.
- Collaborate with educators and other professionals to support students' communication needs.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- Valid Delaware license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Experience with telespeech services in an educational environment is highly valuable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with students, families, and school staff.
