Make a meaningful impact supporting elementary students as a Speech-Language Pathologist on a contract basis for the 2026-27 school year. This assignment begins as soon as possible and runs through June 18, 2027, offering a structured schedule of 34 hours per week.
Qualifications:
- Current or eligible Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education license in Speech and Hearing Disabilities (all levels)
- Active or eligible Massachusetts Board of Allied Health license
- Certification by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (CCC-SLP); Clinical Fellows are also welcomed and encouraged to apply
- Experience or a strong interest in working with elementary age students
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and colleagues
- Organizational skills and a passion for fostering communication skills in children
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to elementary students in accordance with their IEPs
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and maintain accurate documentation
- Develop individualized educational plans and measurable goals in partnership with the multidisciplinary team
- Offer consultation and support to teachers and families
- Participate in team meetings, contribute to progress reporting, and facilitate student growth
