Desired Skills and Background:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current or eligible state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) applicants encouraged
- Prior experience in pediatrics, educational settings, or healthcare environments serving children
- Ability to design and implement individualized therapy plans
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, teachers, and families
- Familiarity with IEP documentation and compliance
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct, individualized speech and language therapy to K-12 students
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments and evaluations
- Develop and execute IEPs in partnership with educators and other support staff
- Engage in progress monitoring, documentation, and regular communication with stakeholders
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to address student needs holistically
