Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current SLP-CCC certification required
- Eligibility for state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Previous experience in a school-based setting is highly desirable
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, especially when working with students and families from diverse backgrounds
- Bilingualism in Spanish or Portuguese is strongly preferred
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to students ranging from kindergarten through twelfth grade
- Conduct evaluations, develop IEPs, and participate in multidisciplinary meetings
- Create and implement individualized treatment plans that address communication needs
- Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
- Document progress, maintain records, and comply with special education regulations
- Contribute cultural competency to the learning environment, supporting multilingual families and students
