Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
  • Experience in K-12 educational settings preferred
  • Strongly prefer candidates who are bilingual in Spanish and/or Portuguese
  • Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal abilities
  • Understanding of culturally responsive, student-centered practices

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver assessments, diagnostics, and direct therapy services for students with communication disorders
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists to develop and implement IEPs
  • Utilize dynamic, evidence-based interventions adapted to individual language needs
  • Track progress, keep thorough records, and provide clear reports to staff and families
  • Support inclusive practices and participate in multi-disciplinary meetings
  • Contribute to a welcoming, respectful environment that honors the school community’s diverse language backgrounds
