Speech and Language Pathologist in Raeford, NC
Embark on a rewarding journey as a contract Speech Language Pathologist supporting students across elementary, middle, and high school settings. This full-time, onsite role spans the 2026-2027 school year, offering the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students while working alongside a dedicated and supportive team.
From August 13, 2026, through May 27, 2027, you’ll contribute your expertise throughout the traditional school week (Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours per week), with caseload placements determined by need and your experience. Whether you are local or open to travel, your clinical knowledge and collaborative spirit will be valued and welcomed.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active North Carolina Speech Language Pathologist license required (or the ability to obtain one by June/July if licensed out of state)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience working in school-based settings across elementary, middle, and/or high schools preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Passion for fostering progress for students with diverse communication needs
- Ability to work effectively onsite; remote/virtual placements are not available
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services in accordance with student IEPs and school/district guidelines
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations, develop intervention plans, and monitor progress proactively
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support students’ growth
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to IEP meetings
- Participate actively within the school community and adapt to varied caseloads based on assignment
