Speech Language Pathologist in Lowell, MA

Key qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- State licensure (or eligibility) as required for school-based practice
- Previous experience working with children or adolescents in K-12 settings is highly valued
- Bilingual fluency, particularly in Spanish and/or Portuguese, is strongly preferred as the majority of students are bilingual
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Adaptable and culturally responsive approach to therapy and team collaboration
Primary responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students individually and in groups
- Conduct assessments to determine student needs and document progress
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with multilingual families, educators, and other support staff
- Maintain accurate records and timely reporting in line with school standards
- Participate in IEP meetings, team conferences, and community outreach as needed
