Key Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Appropriate state license to practice in educational settings
- Bilingual fluency in Spanish or Portuguese is strongly preferred
- Previous experience with K-12th grade students is helpful and will help determine assignments
- Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver assessments, develop and implement IEPs, and provide direct therapy to students
- Work closely with teachers, support staff, and families to promote the best outcomes for each student
- Manage caseloads effectively, documenting progress and maintaining compliance with state and district guidelines
- Support students in both individual and group settings, adapting services to all communication abilities
- Engage in professional development opportunities and participate in school team meetings
