Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid SLPA certification in California
  • Recent experience in a school setting (required)
  • Direct background working with moderate to severe caseloads, especially at the elementary level

  • Ability to work effectively with supervising SLPs, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams

Position Responsibilities:

  • Assist in implementing speech and language therapy plans as directed by supervising Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • Deliver direct services to students with moderate to severe needs in an elementary setting
  • Support students in building communication, social, and academic skills
  • Collaborate with educators and staff to ensure integrated support plans
  • Collect data, document progress, and contribute to team meetings as needed
  • Foster a welcoming and inclusive learning environment
