As the on-site SLP, you'll work one full day each week, typically from 8:45 am to 3:00 pm, delivering targeted support and expert assessment.
In this position, you will:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to three students, including tailored interventions and progress tracking
- Conduct a pending assessment to help inform individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Serve one preschool-aged student off campus with direct speech-language service
- Work collaboratively with teachers and special education staff to promote student success
- Maintain thorough documentation of sessions, assessment results, and progress reports in compliance with school and regulatory standards
Your background should include:
- Current Speech-Language Pathologist license in California (or eligibility)
- ASHA CCC-SLP certification preferred
- Experience with school-aged children and familiarity with IEP processes
- Ability to adapt therapy modalities to diverse student needs, including preschoolers
- Strong communication and organizational skills
This contract assignment offers the chance to earn between $55 and $65+ per hour, depending on experience, in addition to the flexibility of a one-day-per-week schedule.
