School Speech Language Pathologist - Fullerton, California

As an SLPA in this assignment, you’ll contribute your expertise within a supportive school setting, dedicating 32.5 hours per week across five days. Your focus will be on an elementary caseload featuring students with moderate to severe needs, giving you the chance to utilize and further develop your skills in a specialized environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid SLPA license or credential for the state of California
- Recent experience in school settings, specifically with moderate to severe caseloads
- Understanding of IEP processes and documentation requirements in educational settings
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with teachers, staff, and families
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet diverse student needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language support services to assigned students under the supervision of a licensed SLP
- Carry out established treatment plans, track student progress, and adapt activities as needed
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and allied professionals to ensure continuity of care
- Participate in team meetings, IEP development, and support district compliance with all required documentation
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
