Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC required)
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility to obtain) for speech-language pathology practice
- Previous school-based SLP experience preferred, but open to motivated candidates with relevant backgrounds
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Passion for working with diverse student populations across K-12 grades
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech, language, communication, and swallowing assessments
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans for students in both general and special education
- Work collaboratively with teachers, families, and support staff for optimal student outcomes
- Maintain comprehensive documentation in compliance with district and state policies
- Participate in IEP meetings and progress monitoring throughout the contract term
- Effectively manage a K-12 caseload (exact range and specific needs provided upon assignment)
