Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current California SLP license and ASHA CCC-SLP certification (or eligibility)
- Previous experience working in school settings preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt to new environments and work as part of a multidisciplinary team
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct therapy services to students as outlined in IEPs
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to maximize student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and professional development activities
