School Speech Language Pathologist - Long Beach, CA

Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid California SLP license or eligibility
- Accepting Clinical Fellows (CFs) or those with CCC credentials
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and families
- Experience with elementary-age caseloads preferred but not required
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy and intervention services to elementary students with diverse speech and language needs
- Conduct assessments and re-evaluations as required by the school and IEP team
- Collaborate in developing, implementing, and updating IEP goals
- Maintain documentation in accordance with school and state regulations
- Engage with families and staff to support student progress and generalization of skills
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team efforts
