A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in Los Angeles, CA, serving an elementary school setting. This contract opportunity involves managing an elementary caseload at a single site, providing direct support to young learners. Candidates with either Clinical Fellowship (CF) status or Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) are encouraged to apply.
Key qualifications and experience:
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with ASHA CCC or currently in Clinical Fellowship (CF) period.
- Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working within a school team.
- Ability to implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and utilize evidence-based therapy techniques.
- Flexibility to start immediately and provide services through December 19th, with the possibility of extension to a different location.
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering speech and language therapy services to elementary students with a range of communication challenges.
- Assessing and documenting student progress in alignment with school goals and state guidelines.
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success.
- Maintaining compliance with educational and clinical regulations.
