School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Ypsilanti, Michigan

Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Michigan SLP licensure, or eligibility to obtain
- Previous experience working in a school environment is highly desirable
- Strong collaboration skills to work with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Knowledge of IEP development, progress monitoring, and data-driven intervention
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments to determine students’ speech and language needs
- Develop and implement personalized intervention plans in line with IEP goals
- Deliver direct therapy services individually and in groups within school-based settings
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress records per district, state, and federal requirements
- Provide consultation and support to teachers and caregivers to foster student success
- Collaborate with educational staff on curriculum modifications and classroom strategies
- Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary teams, and professional development as needed
