Speech Therapist in Lansing, MI

Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Current, active SLP license in Michigan
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills
- Experience in school settings preferred
Role Highlights:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students in group and/or one-on-one settings at multiple locations, including Cesar Chavez Upper Elementary, Northridge Academy, and Pontiac Academy for Excellence
- Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with teachers, parents, and other specialized staff
- Conduct speech/language assessments and document student progress
- Consult with educators and families to ensure consistent support for student communication goals
- Utilize evidence-based practices and current technology to enhance student outcomes
- Maintain accurate records and adhere to all state and federal documentation requirements
- Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings as needed
Schedule Details:
- Cesar Chavez Upper Elementary: 4 days/week; additional support for 2 days/week
- Northridge Academy: Approximately 8 hours/week, split across 2 days/week
- Pontiac Academy for Excellence: Approximately 9 hours/week, across 2 days/week
