School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Lansing, Michigan

In this role, you'll collaborate with dedicated teams at several schools, supporting K-12 students. Your week will be structured with 4 days at Cesar Chavez Upper Elementary, 2 days at Northridge Academy, and 2 days at Pontiac Academy for Excellence, providing in-depth and consistent support for students in need of speech and language services.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Valid Michigan SLP license (or eligibility)
- Prior experience working in school settings highly preferred
- Ability to develop and implement IEPs and individualized treatment plans
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
Your Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop, and implement treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Maintain and update documentation in accordance with state and district guidelines
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support each student's goals
- Participate in IEP meetings and interdisciplinary teams
- Adapt therapy approach to best suit diverse caseload and varied environments
