Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) in progress
- Background in school-based or pediatric speech therapy preferred
- Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt to diverse student needs and work within a multidisciplinary team
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and interpret results to develop individualized education and therapy plans
- Deliver speech and language therapy for students with a variety of communication needs
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and other staff to integrate therapy within IEPs
- Engage family members and caregivers in the therapeutic process
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in accordance with school and state requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional recommendations
