Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- State licensure as an SLP must be current or eligible
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or candidates in their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) considered
- Previous experience working with pediatric populations in educational settings preferred
- Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students as outlined in their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to guide therapy planning
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals for holistic student support
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation for compliance and progress tracking
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, sharing insights and recommendations
- Stay current with best practices through ongoing professional development
