Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Littleton, CO
Bring your expertise in speech-language pathology to a dynamic school setting in the Denver area, where you'll play an essential role in supporting students' communication skills and educational success. Two contract positions are currently available for passionate Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP), including an opportunity for a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA). These roles offer a chance to work directly with diverse student populations and make a notable difference throughout the school year.
Qualifications:
- Active Colorado Department of Education Special Service Provider License with Speech Pathologist Endorsement (or Speech Pathologist Assistant endorsement for one of the positions)
- Experience in a school-based setting preferred
- Strong collaboration and organizational skills
- Competence in adapting services to a variety of school environments and caseloads
- Ability to pass a background check and fingerprint clearance as required by the district
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services as an onsite provider, working with caseloads ranging from 20-45 students
- Collaborate with teachers and support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Travel between multiple assigned school sites as caseload coverage needs evolve
- Provide direct and consultative therapy to students from kindergarten through 12th grade (depending on assignment)
- Monitor student progress and document outcomes in accordance with district and state requirements
These opportunities include a part-time role (2.5 days per week from now through late May 2027), where you'll support shifting caseloads across district sites, and a full-time position beginning January 2027, where you may serve a single campus or transition between two sites as needed. Both positions are dedicated to in-person services, providing genuine interaction and hands-on support to the students who need it most.
