Requirements and Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid Arkansas SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Previous school-based SLP experience strongly desired
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to develop rapport and work effectively with students, families, and staff
- Organizational skills and adaptability in dynamic environments
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
- Develop and implement individualized IEP goals for each student
- Provide direct therapy services, both individual and group, tailored to students’ needs
- Maintain diligent and up-to-date progress documentation
- Attend IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents
- Offer training, support, and strategies to school colleagues and families
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and growth-oriented learning environment
