Key Qualifications:
- Current SLP licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Demonstrated experience working in school-based and pediatric settings
- Proven knowledge and ability to bill Medicaid for speech-language services
- Skilled in supervising Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs)
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills for partnering with educators, parents, and support staff
- Exceptional communication, documentation, and organizational abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments, evaluations, and screenings for students as needed
- Develop evidence-based IEP goals and deliver targeted speech-language therapy (individual and group)
- Supervise and mentor SLPAs, ensuring compliance with legal and clinical standards
- Accurately document all services and maintain Medicaid billing records
- Work closely with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate on interventions and accommodations
