Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current or eligibility for CCC-SLP or CFY
- Experience working in pediatric or school-based settings preferred
- Comfort managing caseloads of 45–55 students, including those in self-contained classrooms utilizing communication devices
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with staff, students, and families
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver dynamic speech and language therapy services to elementary and middle school students
- Provide both direct and consultative services, addressing a range of communication needs
- Support and collaborate with special education teams and classroom teachers to promote student success
- Develop and implement IEPs, document progress, and maintain accurate records
- Adapt therapy approaches for students utilizing AAC/communication devices
- Serve as a consistent SLP across maternity and retirement coverage, ensuring continuity of care for students
