Step into a dynamic school setting as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the 2026–2027 academic year! Exciting opportunities are available for passionate professionals with pediatric experience, whether you're fully credentialed or currently completing your Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY). This contract-based role offers the chance to provide vital support to students while building meaningful relationships with colleagues and families.
Highlights of this opportunity:
- Full-time schedules available for fall 2026 through the end of the school year.
- Two consecutive roles available:
- Maternity leave coverage from October to December 2026—split between 2 days at a middle school and 2 days at an elementary school, serving a diverse caseload of about 45 students.
- Retirement coverage from January through June 2027 at an elementary school, working with approximately 55 students.
- Opportunity to work seamlessly across both assignments for continuity and professional growth.
Qualifications and experience desired:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (required).
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility as a Clinical Fellow.
- Commitment to working with pediatric populations in school settings, including students with speech needs and those utilizing communication devices.
- Experience supporting both individual students and larger caseloads.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring for students ranging from elementary to middle school.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families.
- Support self-contained classrooms and students using augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices.
- Maintain required documentation in a timely manner.
