We are hiring for full-time contract positions beginning in fall 2026, extending through the end of the school year. Key Details:
- Two assignments available (maternity and retirement coverages), with the possibility for one SLP to fill both from October 2026 through June 2027.
- Cover a maternity leave from October to December 2026: 2 days per week at a middle school, 2 days at an elementary school, approximately 45-student caseload.
- From January to June 2027, transition to an elementary caseload of approximately 55 students.
- Collaborate with staff to address all student speech needs, including supporting self-contained classes utilizing communication devices.
Who will thrive in this role?
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
- SLP-CCC or Clinical Fellowship Year candidates welcome.
- Pediatric and school-based SLP experience highly valued.
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
- Experience working with diverse student populations and assistive communication devices is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver direct therapy services.
- Regularly document student progress and maintain timely, accurate records.
- Work closely with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students’ communication goals.
- Adapt approaches to meet the unique needs of students in various educational settings.
