Pediatric Elementary School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Lexington, Kentucky
An exciting opportunity awaits for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist with a passion for working in school settings. This full-time contract position is for the 2026–2027 school year, supporting students from kindergarten through 12th grade. Caseloads are thoughtfully assigned based on your experience and interests, with a range that includes moderate to profound speech and language needs. Both local professionals and those seeking a travel assignment are encouraged to explore this role.
What You’ll Need:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current and valid state licensure (or eligibility to obtain before the start date)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience in pediatric settings, particularly within K–12 schools
- Skilled at collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families
- Strong organization, communication, and documentation abilities
Your Impact:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students across all grade levels
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs
- Collaborate closely with teachers, special education staff, and families to foster student success
- Support students in achieving communication milestones, both inside and outside the classroom
- Maintain accurate records and participate in IEP meetings
- Provide engaging therapy sessions in early childhood and elementary settings, as well as with older students
