Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Current and active SLP license in Texas (or eligibility to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows will also be considered
- Previous experience working with school-aged children, including assessment and IEP implementation
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration abilities
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough speech, language, and communication assessments for students referred by educators and parents
- Develop individualized treatment plans and deliver therapy services in individual and group settings
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support each student’s progress
- Document evaluations, maintain accurate progress records, and participate in IEP meetings
- Stay current with best practices and continue professional development for effective student support
