Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences Disorders
- Current Texas state licensure as an SLP (or eligibility to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
- Previous experience working in a school setting is highly desired, though strong clinical skills and a passion for working with children are essential
- Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assessments, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech, language, and communicative disorders
- Develop and update Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families
- Offer therapeutic interventions in both individual and group settings to address students’ unique communication needs
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in accordance with district, state, and federal guidelines
- Participate actively in team meetings, staff consultation, and professional development opportunities
