Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Valid and active state licensure as an SLP (or eligibility for licensure)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred, though strong Clinical Fellows will be considered
- Prior experience in a school or pediatric setting is highly valued
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and time management skills
- Capability to adapt therapy strategies for children with diverse needs
Responsibilities:
- Assess and identify students with speech, language, or communication disorders
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) that address students’ unique needs
- Provide evidence-based speech and language therapy, individually and in groups
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
- Offer resources and guidance to teachers and parents for supporting students’ speech-language goals
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to enhance educational outcomes
