Key Qualifications:

  • Current and active Maryland SLP license required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) preferred
  • Previous experience working in school settings or with school-aged children is highly valued
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Ability to adapt to diverse student needs within a dynamic school environment

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy services to a dedicated school-aged caseload
  • Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for students with speech, language, communication, and related disorders
  • Collaborate with educators, counselors, and families to support individualized educational goals
  • Maintain detailed, timely documentation of interventions, progress, and outcomes
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
  • Employ evidence-based practices to foster student communication development and academic success
