Key Qualifications:
- Current and active Maryland SLP license required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) preferred
- Previous experience working in school settings or with school-aged children is highly valued
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt to diverse student needs within a dynamic school environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to a dedicated school-aged caseload
- Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for students with speech, language, communication, and related disorders
- Collaborate with educators, counselors, and families to support individualized educational goals
- Maintain detailed, timely documentation of interventions, progress, and outcomes
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Employ evidence-based practices to foster student communication development and academic success
