Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required
- Experience in school settings, particularly with children from preschool through 5th grade
- Comfortable managing a caseload that may include some 9th-grade students
- Familiarity with developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to students aged 3 through 5th grade, with occasional work with 9th-graders
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student learning and success
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student goals
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and district requirements
