Essential Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathology license (SLP) appropriate for school-based practice
- Bilingual proficiency required to effectively serve a diverse student population
- Previous school-based SLP experience and comfort managing K-12 caseloads
- Strong collaboration skills for working with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary staff
- Proficiency in completing evaluations, eligibility determinations, and progress reports
- Solid organizational skills for balancing documentation and direct therapy responsibilities
- Understanding of IEP process and compliance
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to students, adapting services as needed across grades K-12
- Conduct assessments and write clear, actionable reports to guide intervention
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal planning for student growth
- Maintain thorough documentation and data to monitor student progress and support compliance
- Offer guidance to educators and families on strategies for communication development
- Utilize remote work options productively, ensuring timely report completion every Friday
