Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in Mcdonough, GA
Exciting opportunities are available for dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP-CCC and CFY) interested in making a difference in the lives of students for the 2026-27 school year. Enjoy a standard schedule of 40 hours per week from July 27, 2026, through May 26, 2027. The work location is conveniently situated within a short drive of Atlanta, Decatur, and Peachtree City, making it accessible from many surrounding communities.
Preferred Experience and Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- SLP-CCC or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Georgia state licensure or eligibility in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience with pediatric populations, especially in school settings
- Familiarity with teletherapy tools and virtual service models a plus
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and collaborative approach
- Commitment to evidence-based practices and individualized care
- Comfort working across elementary, middle, and high school levels
Responsibilities Include:
- Conducting comprehensive speech and language assessments
- Developing, implementing, and reviewing IEP goals
- Providing direct therapy services to students
- Working collaboratively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintaining accurate documentation and progress reports
- Utilizing teletherapy platforms as needed
