Key Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure for Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows are welcome to apply
- Previous experience working in a school or pediatric setting highly valued
- Solid assessment, diagnostic, and therapy planning skills
- Strong interpersonal abilities and cultural competence when collaborating with students, families, and staff
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments in accordance with school guidelines
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students with diverse needs
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services
- Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, progress reports, and therapy notes
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, collaborating closely with educators and families
- Offer ongoing support and training to educational teams regarding language and communication strategies
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and motivating learning environment
