Seeking an onsite Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support a K-2 caseload at an elementary school in Kingwood, TX. This contract position offers the chance to work with young learners in a dynamic educational environment, providing essential speech and language services that promote communication development and academic success.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to students in grades K-2.
  • Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and monitor student progress.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student communication goals.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school policies.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of effective intervention strategies.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; consideration given to Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates.
  • Experience working in a school setting with young children, specifically K-2 age range.
  • Strong understanding of speech and language development, disorders, and intervention techniques.
  • Excellent communication and collaborative skills to work effectively within an educational team.
  • Ability to manage a caseload and maintain organized documentation.
