This opportunity is ideal for both Clinical Fellowship Year candidates (SLP-CFY) and experienced professionals holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC). Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Possession of (or eligibility for) a Texas SLP license
- CCC-SLP preferred, but SLP-CFYs will also be considered
- Prior experience or strong interest in working within a school environment, particularly with K-2 students
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide onsite assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of speech, language, articulation, and communication disorders for K-2 students
- Develop and implement evidence-based IEPs tailored to individual student needs
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school and state standards
- Engage with teachers and families to support generalization of speech-language goals in the classroom
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the educational planning process
