An exciting contract opportunity awaits for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) interested in summer ESY programming. This in-person position involves working with students across two buildings for a districtwide Extended School Year program. Running from July 7th to August 7th, the schedule is Monday through Thursday, 7:30 am to 12:30 pm. You’ll provide 10 hours of direct services weekly, with an additional 2 hours for indirect responsibilities such as documentation and collaboration.

Key qualifications we’re seeking include:

  • Valid SLP licensure in Massachusetts
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Experience with or strong interest in school-based SLP services
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with students, staff, and families
  • Ability to tailor interventions for elementary-aged students; prior ESY or summer program experience is a plus

Primary duties will include:

  • Conducting speech-language therapy sessions for elementary students based on IEP goals
  • Implementing a variety of evidence-based interventions and assessments
  • Collecting data and maintaining progress documentation
  • Collaborating with teachers, paraprofessionals, and families to support student learning
  • Participating in team meetings as needed during the program
