Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current and valid Massachusetts SLP license
  • Experience in school-based or pediatric speech-language pathology preferred
  • Ability to assess and treat communication and swallowing disorders in K-8 students
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills with teachers, staff, and parents
  • Commitment to supporting students’ educational and developmental goals

Core Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and provide therapeutic interventions for students with speech, language, and communication needs
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy goals
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with state and district standards
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers and special education staff to support student success
  • Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and strategies
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
