Qualifications and Experience:
- Current and valid Massachusetts SLP license
- Experience in school-based or pediatric speech-language pathology preferred
- Ability to assess and treat communication and swallowing disorders in K-8 students
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with teachers, staff, and parents
- Commitment to supporting students’ educational and developmental goals
Core Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and provide therapeutic interventions for students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy goals
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with state and district standards
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and special education staff to support student success
- Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and strategies
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
