Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Massachusetts
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
- Experience working within school environments or with pediatric populations preferred
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations to identify students’ speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy services in accordance with IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to promote communication success across all settings
- Maintain detailed documentation and contribute to progress monitoring and IEP meetings
- Provide professional insight or in-service training to staff as needed
