School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Laurel, Maryland

You’ll have the flexibility to combine assignments for a full-time schedule, serving campuses where your expertise in communication and language development is highly valued. This contract position starts August 10, 2026 and continues through the academic year until June 9, 2027, offering a consistent workload (37.5 hours per week) within a collaborative educational setting.
Key Qualifications:
- Hold or be eligible for a current Maryland SLP license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Previous school-based SLP experience is highly preferred
- Strong interpersonal communication and organization skills
- Comfortable working onsite in an educational environment
Your Role:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Work collaboratively with educators, parents, and special services teams to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Maintain thorough records of student progress and treatment plans
- Facilitate small group and individualized sessions
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, contributing your expertise in speech and language development
- Serve multiple school sites, with schedule flexibility to build a full-time caseload
