Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active CCC-SLP (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology)
- Valid state licensure or eligible to obtain licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- School-based SLP experience is highly desirable
- Experience with IEP processes and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and organization skills
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive educational environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students requiring services
- Provide direct therapy to individuals and small groups across a range of needs, including articulation, fluency, expressive/receptive language, and social communication
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to support student success
- Monitor progress, adjust interventions as needed, and document all services in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Offer consultation and resources to classroom teachers and staff on communication strategies
