Speech Language Pathologist in Oxford, MI

The assignment runs through mid-June 2027, with full-time hours at one school site per day among four closely situated campuses. The caseload includes students with a range of needs—from general education speech support to those on the autism spectrum or with mild cognitive differences. There are no cases involving severe disabilities, allowing you to concentrate on providing targeted, impactful interventions.
What You'll Bring:
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Prior experience in a school-based SLP role
- Strong interest in working with school-aged children and adolescents
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and special education teams
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
- Current Michigan SLP licensure (or eligibility in process)
- Commitment to onsite services only (teletherapy is not an option)
Your Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech-language assessments for students
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver direct therapy to small groups or individual students
- Document progress and maintain required case records
- Offer consultation and training for school staff and families
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
