Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree required for SLP applicants
- Valid SLP certification or SLPA license (school-based experience preferred for SLPA candidates)
- Experience within educational settings with school-aged children
- Proficiency with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive learning atmosphere
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language interventions to students in grades K-8
- Collaborate closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs and individualized treatment plans
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and progress reports
- Support students’ use of AAC devices as needed
- Maintain accurate records of interventions and student progress
- Participate in team meetings and in-service professional development
