Qualifications & Desired Background:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility
- Experience with pediatric populations in school-based environments (Pre-K through Grade 12)
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Familiarity with IEP process, evaluations, and goal development for diverse age groups
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students in early childhood, elementary, middle, and high school settings
- Deliver direct and consultative speech/language therapy services
- Document progress and collaborate in IEP meetings with families and school staff
- Provide education and resources to teachers and caregivers on communication strategies
- Adapt therapy techniques to accommodate a wide range of developmental needs
